FMCG Field Sales Representative – Supermarkets & Groceries

We are expanding our retail distribution network and are looking for experienced, energetic and results-driven FMCG Field Sales Representatives to introduce and sell our product range to supermarkets, grocery stores, mini marts and other suitable retail outlets across the UAE.
This is a field-based sales position.
Your primary responsibility will be to visit retailers directly, introduce our products, secure new accounts, take orders and build long-term repeat business.
We are hiring multiple sales representatives, with individual sales territories allocated based on the candidate’s experience, market knowledge and existing retailer relationships.
Main Responsibilities
- Visit supermarkets, grocery stores, mini marts and relevant retail outlets every day.
- Identify store owners, managers, buyers and purchasing decision-makers.
- Introduce and present our product range.
- Explain wholesale pricing, retailer margins and promotional opportunities.
- Secure opening orders from new retailers.
- Develop new supermarket and grocery accounts.
- Take repeat orders from existing customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with store owners and buyers.
- Identify new retail opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Ensure products remain available and properly displayed in customer stores.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing and activity.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activity.
- Follow up with customers to generate repeat business.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Provide regular reports on visits, orders and new accounts.
Who We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- FMCG sales
- Supermarket sales
- Grocery sales
- Route sales
- Van sales
- Wholesale distribution
- Food and beverage sales
- Consumer goods distribution
Candidates who already have relationships with supermarket owners, grocery stores, mini marts, purchasing managers or retail buyers in the UAE will be highly preferred.
Requirements
- Previous UAE field-sales experience preferred.
- Experience selling directly to supermarkets and grocery stores strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of the UAE retail market.
- Confident approaching new businesses without appointments.
- Strong face-to-face sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently develop a sales territory.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Must be comfortable spending the majority of the working day in the field.
- UAE driving licence preferred.
- English required.
- Arabic, Hindi or Urdu would be an advantage.
Performance Targets
Performance will be measured according to:
- Number of new retail accounts opened.
- Number of active stores stocking our products.
- Monthly sales achieved.
- Repeat orders.
- Customer retention.
- Territory growth.
- Quality of daily customer visits.
We are looking for salespeople who are motivated by opening new accounts and growing distribution, not simply maintaining existing customers.
Compensation
Competitive basic salary plus commission and performance incentives.
Additional incentives may be offered for:
