-Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services that meet the company’s requirements in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory levels, optimizing supplier relationships, and supporting company operations.

The Buyer will support the buying head and Senior Buyer in highlighting short and long-term strategic approaches, future growth opportunities, and areas of risk for the business with regards to product ranging, allocation, inventory, brand perception, pricing, and margin.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, pricing, and delivery capabilities.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.

Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

Collaborate with internal departments (Merchandising, sales, logistics, E-com, VM, Accounts) to understand procurement needs.

Track market trends

Identify opportunities for cost savings.

Resolve supplier issues, including delays, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree Fashion or textiles.

Experience in a similar or Fashion Buying role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems

Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of international sourcing and import/export regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
