Executive Director – Architecture & Landscape Design – Black & Grey HR

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading Landscaping Company based out of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is looking for a Executive Director who will set the strategic vision and lead the design of all landscape architecture projects under the LCS vertical. This role ensures high-quality, sustainable, and luxury landscape solutions that align with client brands and project objectives. The ED will oversee design from concept to execution, establish a specialized design function, and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.Key Responsibilities:- Define and drive the architectural and landscape design vision.- Lead all phases of landscape design for high-profile projects, ensuring integration with broader architectural and urban planning strategies.- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of landscape architects and designers.- Act as primary liaison with clients, ensuring alignment on design, timelines, budgets, and expectations.- Develop and maintain design standards and a landscape design catalogue.- Oversee project management, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple projects.- Champion sustainable and innovative design practices, incorporating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient solutions.- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and internal design standards.- Provide regular updates and strategic input to CEO-LCS, supporting business growth and expansion.Requirements- Bachelor’s in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or related field (Master’s preferred).- 15+ years of experience in landscape architecture and design, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.- Proven track record in luxury residential, real estate, or community development projects.- Licensed Landscape Architect (LLA), LEED accreditation, or equivalent certification preferred.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other landscape design tools.BenefitsAttractive salary + Benefits.
