Estimation Engineer – Repair (Concrete Repair & Remediation) - Emcon contracting llc

Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, and coating enquiries; identify scope, exclusions, and risks.
Conduct site visits and condition surveys; prepare quantity take-offs and measurement sheets from drawings and site data.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and rate analyses covering materials, manpower, equipment, access (scaffolding/MEWP), preliminaries, and overheads.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from material suppliers and specialist subcontractors; negotiate to secure competitive rates.
Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals, including methodology write-ups, compliance statements, and qualifications/clarifications.
Attend pre-bid meetings and respond to post-tender clarifications; support negotiation until award.
Maintain the estimation database (unit rates, productivity norms, historical costs) and provide value-engineering alternatives.
Hand over awarded projects to the operations team with budget breakdowns and support with variation pricing during execution.
