Cataloguer Librarian Specialist ( Academic Institution) – Star Services

• Responsible for functions related to bibliographic control of library materials; writes policies and procedures; oversees operations on daily maintenance and quality control; provides professional recommendations on international standards and their latest status
• To assist with administrative tasks associated with cataloging as required.
• To actively participate in ensuring the quality of the catalog database through authority checking, among other things.
• Understanding of the principles and practices of retrospective conversion
• Establishing authority records and overseeing the accuracy and development of Authority Control of the bibliographic database maintenance
• Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor (creating lists, collecting statistics)
