Business Development Manager
A Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and growth of business by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and partners, and managing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Key duties include market research, developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, conducting presentations, and collaborating with internal teams like sales and design. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and technical understanding of smart home and automation technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Sales and opportunity development: Identify and pursue sales leads and new business opportunities in the smart home and automation sectors for both new and existing clients.
- Client and partner relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and other strategic partners.
- Sales process management: Manage the full sales cycle, including conducting product presentations, preparing detailed proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and tracking progress using CRM tools.
- Market and industry knowledge: Conduct market research, stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, and provide insights on smart home and automation technologies.
- Strategy and collaboration: Assist in developing sales plans and strategies, and collaborate with internal teams like sales and design to ensure client requirements are met and projects are executed smoothly.
- Project coordination: Support the project management process, including managing installation schedules and helping resolve issues during project execution.
