Business Development Manager, GCC – Corporate Certifications – Michael Page International (UAE) Limited

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across the GCC region (excluding Saudi Arabia) for a leading global provider of corporate learning solutions and professional certifications.

This role focuses on expanding enterprise partnerships, increasing adoption of workforce development programs, and building a strong regional presence across key markets including UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.

Description

Business Growth & Revenue Generation

Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targetsIdentify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within enterprise, government, and education sectorsDrive demand for corporate training programs, digital learning solutions, and professional certificationsBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders (HR leaders, L&D heads, CXOs)Understand client workforce development needs and align solutions accordinglyDeliver compelling presentations, proposals, and tailored solutions to clientsEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Partnership Development

Build strategic partnerships with local training providers, channel partners, and resellersCollaborate with ecosystem partners to expand market reachDevelop joint go-to-market initiatives to accelerate growth

Market Intelligence & Strategy

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across GCC marketsProvide insights to shape product positioning and commercial strategyIdentify new verticals and emerging opportunities for expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align on campaigns and offeringsSupport localization of solutions for regional relevanceContribute to thought leadership initiatives, events, and industry forums

Profile

Experience

5-10 years of experience inB2B sales/business development, preferably in:
Corporate training / L&D solutionsProfessional certificationsEdTech (corporate only) or skills development
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in the GCC region

Skills & Competencies

Strong consultative selling and solution-oriented approachExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skillsDeep understanding of enterprise learning, upskilling, and workforce transformation trendsAbility to operate independently in a regional, fast-paced environmentStrong presentation and communication skills

Regional Expertise

Solid network across GCC markets (excluding Saudi Arabia)Understanding of cultural and business dynamics in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and BahrainWillingness to travel across the region as required
