We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Finance Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Performance

  • Support the Finance Manager/GM in setting financial strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize margins, and improve overall profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze Gross Profit and Net Profit levels, identifying opportunities for improvement across divisions.
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPIs for decision-making and performance tracking.

Working Capital & Banking

  • Manage cash flow effectively and optimize working capital cycles.
  • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure additional working capital facilities and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of funds to balance liquidity and growth requirements.

Operations & Production Efficiency

  • Partner with production and operations teams to analyze cost structures, production efficiencies, and bottlenecks.
  • Provide financial insights to improve throughput, reduce wastage, and optimize plant capacity utilization.
  • Support implementation of cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement initiatives.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Collaborate with the sales team to analyze pricing, margins, and customer profitability.
  • Design incentive structures and financial tools that align sales growth with company profitability targets.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and contracts for financial viability.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure financial processes, controls, and reporting comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Support external and internal audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance, with exposure to manufacturing, steel, or heavy industries strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of production costing, working capital cycles, and financial modeling.
  • Proven experience in liaising with banks and financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with production, sales, and operations teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
