Assist and drive approvals and ECAS/G-Mark certification for Electrical products accessing the regional market as part of certification team
Competencies:
- Familiarity with IEC standards concerning domestic & home appliances and consumer electrical products
- Ideally, experience in the subject of restriction of hazardous substances
- Basic understanding of energy efficiency for home appliances, lighting products, luminaries and lighting
- Knowledge of equipment for use in explosive atmosphere
- Experience in ISO 9001 and IEC 17025 is preferred
- Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in testing and/or certification of electrical products
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods
- Ability to scrutinize and compare technical documents
- Drive performance by ensuring performance expectations are met
- Ability to review constructively the work of other engineers
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Highly energized mind-set with willingness and desire to learn and adapt individually
- Able to act on own initiative
- Excellent time management
